New skills being mastered in three minutes or less, the dowdy becoming surprisingly attractive, someone in a sad or dire situation deciding, "Hey! This is a battle I can win!" ...Is there anything more instantly gratifying (read: subconsciously reassuring) than watching a well-scored montage?
